Romanian Airport Services is proving itself to be among the best FBOs in Europe. Aviation International News Magazine has just released the results of its 2001 European FBO Survey, ranking Airport Handling companies based on the quality and consistency of the services they provide. Overall, Romanian was ranked third in Europe and Romanian Airport Services at Baneasa Airport, Bucharest, was ranked as the top handling company in Romania.

   The survey is designed to provide business pilots flying in Europe with an accurate, objective assessment of the quality of facilities and handling operations at the various airports throughout Europe. Pilots who are based in Europe or regularly operate here were asked to complete the survey and to evaluate FBOs and Handling Agents based on line services, passenger amenities, pilot amenities & services and facilities. FBOs were then awarded one of five ratings, ranging from excellent to poor, is each category.

   Romanian Airport Services achieved the top rating of "excellent" for line service. They also received the second highest rating of the quality of their facilities and for the overall quality and consistency of services, amenities and facilities.
